Mobile headers push navigation off screen
On mobile at 390 pixels wide, the signed-in home header kept the name, language switch, Alert settings, and Sign out in one row. Alert settings reached the right edge, and Sign out was not visible. Horizontal scrolling did not reveal it, so I had to open Alert settings and scroll to the bottom to sign out. In Spanish, “Ajustes de avisos” was visibly cut off. The Spanish privacy page also clipped its “Inicio” link. Wrap or stack these header controls so every navigation action fits.

Choosing the volunteer role enables availability before confirming languages
After selecting “I can help translating,” I opened Alert settings and then returned home. “I volunteer as an interpreter” and “Available right now” were both on, with Spanish selected under the interpreter languages. I had not enabled either switch or chosen Spanish as a language I could interpret; my requester language was French. I switched availability off, and no incoming requests were shown. Ask volunteers to confirm their interpreting languages and explicitly become available before making them eligible for requests.

The no-interpreter warning disappears before calling
With French selected in the expanded requester view, the page showed “No interpreter for this language is online right now. You can still call — we'll alert volunteers as they come on — or pick another language.” Clicking “I need help translating” collapsed the options into a screen showing “Calling in: French,” “Call a volunteer,” and “Change my choice,” but removed that warning. Clicking “Change my choice” brought the same warning back. On mobile, the expanded warning was also below the language list, far beneath the call button. Keep availability information beside the call action in both views so users can judge whether to wait or choose another language.

Returning from the privacy policy loses the selected sign-in mode
On mobile, I selected “I already have an account” and reached “Welcome back” with a Sign in button. I then opened “Privacy Policy” at /privacy and used browser Back. Instead of restoring sign-in, /auth displayed “Create your account” with First name and Create account controls. This happened again when repeated in English. Preserve the selected authentication mode across navigation so reading the policy does not send an existing user back into signup.
